First Aid for Your Child (Non-Accredited)

Course Description

This program has been designed to give you a guide and run through some of the most common topics a new parent is likely to face. This is a tailored program designed to create an engaging learning environment to give you more confidence to know what to do should something happen to an infant or small child

Course Content

• Recognise an emergency situation / Who can you call?
• Care and treatment of Asthma & Anaphylaxis
• Choking
• Poisoning
• Seizures and Febrile Convulsions
• Fever, Vomiting and Gastro
• Bites and Stings
• Trauma (Bleeds, sprains, head injuries)
• Burns
• Drowning
• CPR

Delivery Options

Entry Requirements

No formal pre-requisites required however an accredited CPR and/of First Aid qualification is also a great idea

Demonstrations (not assessments or tests) You will perform demonstrations for several scenarios in this practical based workshop
