HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
DURATION 2.5 hours including assessment
The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course delivers the essential principles‚ skills and knowledge to maintain or restore breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant. The course content is based on the policies and standards of the Australian Resuscitation Council.
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (Full/Update)
DURATION 8 hours including assessment
- Full Course - Flexible Delivery – One full day of training (8 hours) plus pre-course learning (available online or in hardcopy format) to be completed prior to the practical training day.
- Update/Refresher Course - One full day of training (8 hours)
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to manage emergency first aid situations and deliver competent emergency care until the arrival of professional medical support. Once completed‚ participants will obtain a first aid certificate that is valid for three years. The Provide First Aid course is nationally recognised WorkCover approved training.
HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
DURATION 8 hours including assessment
This course is ideal for those who work in the education and child care industry‚ as well as parents and carers of young children. The Education and Care First Aid course is nationally recognised WorkCover approved training, and has been endorsed by ACECQA as satisfying all education requirements for first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma training.
HLTAID014 - Provide Advanced First Aid
DURATION 2 days (approx. 8 hours per day)
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
HLTAID015 - Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy
DURATION 8 hours including assessment
The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and application of oxygen, airway management devices, and automated external defibrillators during resuscitation, and to administer oxygen to conscious and unconscious breathing causalities.
HLTAID016 - Manage first aid services and resources
DURATION 6 hours including assessment
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace. The unit applies to workers in nominated occupational first aid or management roles.
UETDRRF004 - Perform rescue from a live LV panel
DURATION 2 hours including assessment
This unit covers the performance of rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the norm way of doing work.
Mental Health First Aid - Standard 2 Day Course
DURATION 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid
This course focuses on the workplace and provides relevant information and tailored scenarios and exercises that will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to provide initial mental health first aid to assist colleagues, clients, and other workplace contacts who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis, and how to connect people needing assistance to existing workplace supports and external professional help.

Kitchen Catch Up - Understanding Mental Health & Wellbeing
DURATION 60 Minutes
In these unique times, many people may be feeling anxious, worried or afraid as COVID-19 continues to impact all of us. Looking after the mental health of ourselves, friends and family is an important part of staying well. Join us for a 60-minute Kitchen Catch Up with two of our accredited Mental Health First Aid Trainers to learn more about Mental Health and how to look after yourself and others.

CHCCCS019 Recognise and Respond to Crisis Situations
DURATION 8 hours including assessment
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise situations where people may be in imminent crisis, and then to work collaboratively to minimise any safety concerns and make plans to access required support services. This unit applies to any community services worker involved in crisis intervention. Management of the crisis may involve face-to-face, telephone or remote contact with persons involved. Note: This course is not a therapy or a support group.
